Abbeyville Veterinary Hospital is a mixed veterinary practice seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team working 100% small (with opportunities to do a small amount of work with large if desired).
We are happy to be privately owned with four practices based across Cork. Our busy Togher hospital is fully equipped with an in-house laboratory with our state-of-the-art Imagyst Biochemistry and Haematology blood analysers. We also have in-house Digital and Dental radiography services, Ultrasound and much more! our Carrigaline branch is currently being upgraded to a hospital with similar equipment as Togher.
Our friendly team strive to provide excellent patient care and have a loyal client base which are very important to us. Many of the team are completing certificates to further up skill in their desired field.
The Role
This is a Full-time, permanent position, 38 hours per week at 4 days per week (40 hours per week at 5 days is also available).
Day to day duties will include reception work, basic surgical prep, monitoring surgery, monitoring in-patients, cleaning, assisting vets with consultations, stock monitoring and billing, and assisting with the large farm client base if you choose to also work with the farm animal side of the practice.
Salary will commensurate with experience.
